我孫子から石巻へ２トン車で支援物資運搬をしてくれるということ！！ドライバー付きで。
ビックリしました。無料で支援してくれるんですよ！本当にありがたい。
何とかして、東北を支援したい。実際に現地へ飛んで行き、応援したい。
同じ気持ちでいてくれる人たちが、こんなにもたくさんいてくれて、本当に嬉しい。
あとは、スタッフ用のバン（７〜８人）をどこかで調達するのみ。
レンタカー会社に明日支援依頼してみます。ダメならレンタルがある！
最近mixiを通して、在宅避難されている石巻市のママたちから連絡がいただけるようになりました。本音で必要物資のリクエストをもらいたい。必要ないものは持って行きたくないですからね。
でも誰もが同じこと言う。
「家は流されていない在宅避難の身で、支援して欲しいなんて言ってもいいんですか？」
在宅避難されていた方々が、震災当初、配給された物資が何かご存知ですか？
４人家族が実際にもらえたもの：−
１. 賞味期限の１日切れたおにぎり１つ
２. カップラーメン１つ、食パン２袋
３. 水１Lが１本
それからサイズの合わないオムツとミルクも一度だけ。
こういう対応を目の当たりにして、「家があるんだから、あとは自力で生活して行け」って言われているのと同然だと思い、なかなか物資をもらいに行くことができなかったそうです。
在宅避難の方々は、だからなかなか声を出さないでいたのですね。。。
わたしはそういう方々を支援していきたいです。その声ドンドン聞きたいです。
毎回支援物資の内容が変わってきます。時間が経つと必要なものも変わって来る。それは当然なこと。そしてそれにできる限り対応していきたいと思っています。
今回の支援物資リクエストは以下。
まな板、料理ばさみ、洗濯板、洗濯桶、キャリーバック、弁当箱、サンダル、電化製品、自転車、肌着、汗ふきシート、バスタオル、ワイヤーハンガー、リュック、カッパ、かさ、懐中電灯、夏物服（しみのないもの）、カセットコンロ
その他、mixi情報ではオムツやベビーグッズがリクエストとして出されています。
前回持っていけなかった古着、絵本はかなりあるので、仕分けして、必要であればまた連絡します。

Through Twitter, I tweeted @rentorabin, and I received a reply from the president of the firm who said it was "possible to support" us. So I rang him today and formally requested his help. He can deliver relief supplies from Abiko to Ishinomaki, including the driver (himself) even though he is in Shinagawa, Tokyo.
I was so surprised. He's going to support me? For free? I really, really appreciate it. I want to support Tohoku no matter what, and I just want get there in a hurry. I'm so happy to know there are so many people who have the same urge as me.
OK, my next mission is to find a van for our volunteers (seven to eight people). I will try rent-a-car companies tomorrow to see if we can get a special deal. If they say no, we'll have to rent something.
Recently, Ishinomaki mothers have contacted me through Mixi. I want to find out what they really want, directly from them. I don't want to take anything they don't need. But everybody said the same thing: "My house wasn't swept away in the tsunami. Is it really OK for me to ask for something?"
Here are the emergency goods the government supplied to householders. Can you guess? For four family members they have received ONCE since the earthquake:
1 rice bowl (one day past its sell-by date)
1 cup ramen noodle
2 six-slice loaves of bread
1 bottle of water (1 litre)
Oh, and also one packet of wrong-size nappies, and powder milk.
Once.
Looking at this meagre relief, the householders got the message that "You have a house, you get on with your life yourself. No scroungers here please."
This is the reason they didn't go to city hall to try to receive any help. This is why they didn't speak up. They didn't think anybody was listening to them.
But I'm listening. Hard. I want to support these people.
What people need changes over time, so we have to be flexible to their needs.
Here's another request from other householders: Wire hangers, backpacks, raincoats, umbrellas, a chopping board, kitchen scissors, a washboard, a washing up bowl, a carry bag, a lunch box, sandals, electric appliances, bicycles, under garments, body wet wipes, torches and bath towels, summer clothes (second hand OK - but please no stains) nappies and baby goods.
I will check out if things we couldn't take last time - some clothes and picture books - are still needed.

Editor's note (this bit is not in the Japanese above) many people didn't lose their houses, but may be living in just the upstairs, unable to use the kitchen or bathroom (which is invariably on the ground floor); others have lost their car and have no way to get to work; still others will be providing for extended family who have lost all. But in the eyes of the government, these people have no need of assistance).
